Ukraine received 80% of intelligence from partners - Politico

What will happen after US stops providing intelligence to Ukraine

Ukraine received 80% of its intelligence from partners, mainly the United States.

Censor.NET reports that Politico cited sources as saying this.

As of Wednesday, the Ukrainian armed forces were still receiving some intelligence from partners, but it was not specified from which countries. The source of the publication said that Ukraine received 80% of intelligence information from allied countries, mainly from the United States.

"It’s inevitably going to be a huge setback for the Ukrainians, I don’t think there’s any way to deny that. The British will try to fill the gap. We have our listening posts at RAF Akrotiri, which is sovereign, we have Rivet Joint flights in the area. But, we obviously don’t have all of the capabilities that the Americans have and there will be some things that just aren’t replaceable," said Neil Barnett, the CEO of Istok Associates Limited.

At the same time, other sources report that Ukraine has become less dependent on American weapons systems than at the beginning of the war. After all, up to 40% of the weapons used on the frontlines are made in Ukraine.

Suspension of US aid

On the morning of March 4, it became known that US President Donald Trump had ordered the suspension of all US military aid to Ukraine in order to force Kyiv to demonstrate a "good faith commitment" to peace.

One U.S. official told CNN that the consequences of the suspension of U.S. military aid will be felt in some time. Perhaps a few days or weeks. However, as soon as the stockpiles of weapons and armaments begin to run out, the country will face serious consequences.

According to journalist Ostap Yarysh, the US decision to suspend assistance to Ukraine will primarily affect the supply of missiles to air defense and ammunition for HIMARS and artillery.
