We have to work to support Ukraine and ensure just and lasting peace – Costa
European Council President Antonio Costa called on EU partners to support Ukraine to ensure a just and lasting peace.
According to Censor.NET, Costa wrote about this in the social network X.
"Our cooperation with like-minded NATO partners is vital for international security, for Ukraine, and for building joint defense efforts. During today's videoconference with Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Keir Starmer, Prime Minister of Norway Jonas Har Støre, Prime Minister of Iceland Kristrún Frostadóttir, President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau, and President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen, I informed them of the important decisions taken by the European Council last night and of our meeting with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy," Costa wrote.
