It is more difficult to negotiate end to war with Ukraine than with Russia. Putin wants peace – Trump

US President Donald Trump has said he believes Russian dictator Vladimir Putin wants to make peace. Trump claims that he is finding it "more difficult to deal with Ukraine" on peace agreements.
He said this during his speech in the Oval Office, Censor.NET reports.
"I believe him (Putin - ed.). I think we are doing very well with Russia. But now they're bombing the hell out of Ukraine, and I'm finding it more difficult frankly to deal with Ukraine. And they don't have the cards," he said.
"I have to know that they want to settle. If they don't want a settlement, we're out of there," the US president stressed.
Commenting on recent events in Europe, he said that this war could lead to World War III.
He also touched on the issue of cutting off military aid to Ukraine, saying that he was "doing what anyone would do in my position", as the US had already allegedly spent $350 billion on aid.
He confirmed that Putin is taking advantage of the fact that the US has restricted Ukraine's access to intelligence and military assistance.
"Anyone in his position would do the same," the American leader said.
"We are working very hard on this (resolving the war). That's all I'm thinking about right now. We are losing 2,000 young people every week. In the case of one country, there are more older people because young people have died," Trump added.
