Trump says he thinks Zelenskyy is ungrateful

US President Donald Trump has said that he does not consider Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy grateful for American assistance.

Trump said this in an interview with Fox News, Censor.NET reports.

"What he(Zelenskyy - ed.) did was like taking candy from a child. He's a smart guy, and he's a tough guy. And he took money from this country(the United States - ed.) for Biden like candy from a child. I don't think he's grateful," the White House chief said.

Trump also reiterated the $350 billion that the United States allegedly allocated to help Ukraine.

"Biden should never have invested $350 billion, he should have stayed on par with Europe. All you have to do is say that you have to stay on an equal footing. They have invested $100 billion and we have invested $350 billion, how does that work? There is an ocean between us, we are not in as much danger as they are, they are in much greater danger, if you call it danger," the American leader said.

Earlier it was reported that the United States provided Ukraine with $69 billion in total military assistance, which is significantly different from the figures of US President Donald Trump. At the same time, EU countries spent $54 billion on military aid to Ukraine.
