Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine General Oleksandr Syrskyi noted during a working meeting on the formation of army corps that when appointing corps commanders, priority is given to young, promising officers who already have sufficient combat experience.

He announced this on Facebook, Censor.NET reports.

"I heard the corps commanders on the procedure for implementing priority measures to form corps departments. In appointing corps commanders, priority was given to young, promising officers who already have sufficient combat experience and have distinguished themselves by effective actions at the head of brigades," said Syrskyi.

The general also listened to the problematic issues and gave the necessary orders for their immediate resolution. As part of the army's reorganization, Syrskyi outlined further tasks, emphasizing the need to improve the army to achieve victory.

"In order to withstand and win, the Ukrainian army is becoming more modern, more efficient and stronger. We continue to work according to the plan," emphasized Syrskyi.
