Drones massively attacked six regions of Russia: Ministry of Defence reports shooting down 337 UAVs (updated). VIDEO

On the night of 11 March, unidentified drones attacked a number of regions of the Russian Federation. The Russian Defence Ministry announced the downing of 337 UAVs.

This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to Russian Telegram channels.

Around 1am, residents of Kursk and Kurchatov reported at least five explosions.

Soon after, explosions were also heard in the sky over Ryazan. Locals reported hearing at least 10 explosions. They caused walls and windows to shake in houses and set off car alarms.

The threat of a UAV attack was also announced in Samara region and Tatarstan, and drones were also shot down over Vladimir, Tula and Kaluga regions.

In particular, overnight, Russian air defence forces allegedly shot down 8 drones over the Kaluga region, with no casualties, the governor said.

337 Ukrainian drones were shot down overnight over several regions of Russia. The attack was the largest in 2025, the Russian Defence Ministry said. And Moscow Mayor Sobyanin said that 73 drones were shot down on approach to the capital.
