Moscow Region massively attacked by drones: airports are closed (updated). VIDEO&PHOTOS

On the night of 11 March, unknown drones attacked the Moscow region. The Russians claimed to be operating air defences.

This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to Russian media and Telegram channels.

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin claims that Russian air defence systems have allegedly shot down at least 58 drones flying towards the aggressor country's capital.

In his Telegram posts, Sobyanin said that the UAVs were allegedly shot down in the Domodedovo urban district and Ramenskoye urban district.

According to the Russian Telegram channel Astra, the Zhukovsky and Domodedovo airports in the Moscow region were suspended due to the UAV attack.

Russian media outlets spread a video of a fire in a high-rise building in Ramenskoye, which they say was allegedly caused by a drone strike.

Another drone strike on a residential building in Vidnoye, Moscow Region, was also reported.

One person was killed and three were injured after a massive attack by Ukrainian armed forces drones on the Moscow region. All of them are from Vidnoye and Domodedovo. This was stated by the governor of the region, Andrei Vorobyov.

Debris also fell on an apartment block in Ramenskoye. At least seven apartments on the 19th to 22nd floors of the building on Northern Highway were damaged. Of these, 12 people, including 3 children, were evacuated.

Also, according to Russian Telegram channels, at 6:30 a.m., drone attacks on Moscow and the Moscow region continued. Residents of Ramenskoye reported new drones flying over the city. Residents of Zhukovsky also reported hearing new explosions.

Vnukovo airport has also introduced a ‘Carpet’ regime. Departing and arriving flights have been delayed due to the massive attack.
