Rubio did not rule out possibility of informal communication with Zelenskyy

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio did not rule out the possibility of informal communication with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Saudi Arabia.

He was quoted by the State Department's press service, Censor.NET reports.

Rubio said that the President of Ukraine is not part of the negotiations between the delegations of Ukraine and the United States in Jeddah.

Commenting on a possible conversation with Zelenskyy, the Secretary of State said:

Potentially. As I said, his engagements (Volodymyr Zelenskyy - Ed.) will probably be with the President (Donald Trump - Ed.) directly, but it’s possible.

As a reminder, on 11 March 2025, a meeting of the US and Ukrainian delegations began in Jeddah.
