US and Ukraine did not discuss territorial concessions in Jeddah - Politico

Representatives of the US and Ukrainian delegations did not discuss the issue of territorial concessions during the meeting in Jeddah on March 11.
This is stated in the Politico material, Censor.NET informs.
"On the eve of the negotiations, Rubio warned Kyiv that it would have to make concessions, including territorial ones. But during the eight hours of discussions in Jeddah on Tuesday, the topic of territorial concessions did not even come up," the publication notes, citing a Ukrainian official.
Politico writes that this issue will certainly be raised if substantive negotiations on a final settlement begin.
The publication also notes that the US position on security guarantees has not changed. The US president has made it clear that he is not going to guarantee "very much" regarding Ukraine's future security, because he considers this to be the task of Europe, not America.
Not a single point in the joint statement in Jeddah indicates that the United States has changed its position.
