Zelenskyy on possible meeting with Trump: I did not hear invitation
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that any meeting with Donald Trump should end in a positive result, in particular for Ukrainian society.
The head of state said this during a briefing, Censor.NET reports.
"I have not heard anything about the invitation. I think that any meeting we have with the President of the United States should end in a positive result for both sides. And that is how we should approach any meeting. We are doing everything for this. I really want any meeting to be positive. To do this, everyone needs to prepare and warn everyone about the format of the upcoming meeting," Zelenskyy said.
He emphasized that Ukrainian society expects results that will bring real benefits.
"I would really like us to have a positive result for people. People have been fighting for themselves in Ukraine for a very long time. They have been fighting for a very long time and deserve to have... light. We are doing everything for this," the President added.
