Ukraine is ready for 30-day ceasefire format proposed by US - Zelenskyy
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the proposal for 30 days of ceasefire at the front was made by the United States.

According to the head of state, before the meeting in Jeddah, there was talk of offering ceasefire in the air and at sea. However, the United States later proposed a different approach.
In the middle of the meeting, the Ukrainian team contacted him, and the American delegation contacted US President Donald Trump, and raised the question of whether Ukraine was ready to take steps to ensure silence throughout the territory.
"I have emphasized this repeatedly, none of us believe the Russians, we have been through this, but we will not play with narratives that we do not want the war to end. I am very serious and it is important for me to end the war, I want the US president to see this, I want Europe, everyone to be in an alliance to force Russia to end the war. Therefore, my reaction was that we are ready for a 30-day ceasefire in the format offered by the American side," Zelenskyy explained.
As reported, after the talks in Jeddah, the United States resumed military assistance, and the possibility of a 30-day ceasefire will be discussed with Russia. Zelenskyy later clarified that Ukraine is ready for a complete ceasefire if the Russians are ready.
