Rubio: Ukraine issue will be among topics of G7 meeting in Canada

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has confirmed that during this week's G7 ministerial meeting in Canada, the US delegation will discuss, among other things, the latest developments related to Ukraine.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to Fox.
During a conversation with journalists at Shannon Airport (Ireland), Marco Rubio noted that cooperation between the United States and Canada remains a priority, in particular with regard to North American security.
"We have a lot of things we're working on together (with Canada - ed.)," Rubio said, answering a question about the possibility of discussing Donald Trump's initiative to have Canada join the United States as the 51st state.
He emphasized that this issue will not be on the agenda, instead, attention will be focused on current topics.
"We are defending North America together through NORAD, as well as the airspace of our continent, not to mention the issue of Ukraine and other common issues. So at the G7 meeting, we will focus on all these things. That's what the meeting will be about," the US Secretary of State added.
