Ukraine runs out of long-range ATACMS missiles provided by US - Associated Press

Ukraine has exhausted its stocks of ATACMS long-range army tactical missile systems provided by the United States.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported by the Associated Press with reference to American and Ukrainian officials who wished to remain anonymous.
According to one of the US officials and a Ukrainian deputy from the Defence Committee, the US has provided Kyiv with less than 40 such missiles, and their stocks were exhausted at the end of January.
Previously, senior Pentagon officials, including former Defence Secretary Lloyd Austin, have said that ATACMS deliveries would be limited as the US and its NATO allies see other weapons as a higher priority to support Ukraine.
The AP did not specify whether the missiles are included in the aid packages currently on their way to Ukraine after the recently cancelled supply pause.
As a reminder, in 2024, Ukraine was allowed to use several types of long-range weapons on a wider scale. These include Storm Shadow/SCALP missiles, as well as upgraded US ATACMS with a range of over 300 km.
In 2024, the Defence Forces destroyed 392 important facilities in the Russian Federation.
