Air defence destroyed 90 shaheds on 17 March 2025

On the night of 17 March, the Russian occupiers attacked Ukraine with 174 Shahed-type attack drones and various types of imitation drones from different directions.

This was reported by the Air Force, Censor.NET reports.

The launches were recorded from the directions of Oryol, Shatalovo, Kursk, Bryansk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk.

"As of 09.00, 90 Shahed attack UAVs and other types of drones have been confirmed downed in Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Kyiv, Kirovohrad, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia and Odesa regions.

70 enemy imitator drones were lost locally (without negative consequences)," the statement said.

The Russian attack affected Odesa, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Kirovohrad, Sumy, Chernihiv and Kyiv regions.
