First training program for instructors of DELTA combat system starts in AFU – Ministry of Defense

A training program for instructors for the effective use of the DELTA combat system is being implemented in training centers and higher military educational institutions of the Land Forces.
This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Censor.NET reports.
As noted, this training course was developed by the Center for Innovation of the Ministry of Defense and the Training Command of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The main goal of the training is to provide the military with the necessary knowledge about DELTA to implement it in combat units and use it effectively.
It is reported that the program will last six days, include seven modules and consist of the following areas:
- Mastering the DELTA system in practice: from basic functions to advanced capabilities for real combat scenarios;
- Teaching methodology: training instructors to pass on knowledge and skills to future users of the DELTA system;
- Enhancing knowledge and exchanging experience: leveraging combat experience with DELTA to continuously refine the program and tactics.
"In a time of war and constant technological evolution, the ability to quickly adapt and effectively use modern combat systems is critical. But such systems will not work by themselves, they need people. Therefore, the DELTA instructor training program is an investment in the intellectual potential of our troops and a significant step towards technological superiority on the battlefield," said Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine for Digitalization Kateryna Chernogorenko.
The Ministry of Defense added that the implementation of the DELTA instructor training program is part of the Armed Forces' strategic course to modernize and increase the effectiveness of troops in modern combat conditions. It is also noted that the next stage will be the large-scale implementation of the program in all training centers and higher military educational institutions of the Security and Defense Forces of Ukraine.
What is the DELTA system?
DELTA is a combat system that allows to plan operations and see the battlefield in real time, exchange information within a unit, brigade, group, and, if necessary, with allies.
More than 600,000 objects about the enemy's location are added to the system every month, while more than 4 million enemy objects are viewed by the military.
Earlier it was reported that the Ukrainian combat system DELTA was highly praised by NATO Supreme Allied Commander Transformation General Philippe Lavigne and Deputy Chief of Staff for NATO Capabilities Vice Admiral Jeffrey W. Hughes.
