Argentine President Milei’s voice can help bring peace closer – Zelenskyy after phone conversation

On Monday, March 17, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a phone conversation with Argentine leader Javier Milei.
He wrote about it in a telegram, Censor.NET reports.
Zelenskyy expressed condolences over the recent flooding in Argentina, which killed 16 people and displaced thousands.
He said that Ukraine is ready to help Argentina protect lives and provide the necessary assistance.
The Head of State also told his Argentine counterpart about the meeting of the Ukrainian and American teams in Jeddah, during which Ukraine supported the U.S. proposal for "unconditional full 30-day ceasefire".
"Now we see Russia putting forward absolutely unnecessary conditions and actually rejecting this proposal. Moscow does not want peace, but to continue the war. Javier's voice can help bring peace closer. We are counting on him," Zelenskyy emphasized.
The two leaders also discussed strengthening bilateral relations, including trade and economic ones.
