Receivables under arms contracts of Ministry of Defence amount to UAH 51 billion. This is almost twice as much as under Reznikov, - Shabunin

Undelivered weapons

As of February 2025, the overdue receivables under the Ministry of Defence's arms contracts amounted to UAH 51 billion.

The head of the AntAC Vitalii Shabunin wrote about this on Facebook, Censor.NET reports.

"This amount was paid by the Ministry of Defence in advance under contracts for which the weapons were never delivered. This is almost twice as much as it was during Reznikov's tenure," he explained.

Shabunin recalls that in 2023, Reznikov had undelivered weapons worth UAH 27 billion. At the time, this caused a huge scandal, and Reznikov was fired a month and a half later.

"In fact, nowadays, weapons are not delivered for a much larger amount. But for now, let's fix this concrete UAH 51 billion that Umierov admits. To understand the enormity of this (flushed down the toilet) amount, ‘Come Back Alive’ raised UAH 15 billion during the entire Great War.

The largest fund raised THREE TIMES less than the Ministry of Defence flushed down the toilet without ever receiving the weapons it had paid for. And now imagine what a huge difference these 51 billion would have made at the front if they had been in the hands of competent managers! For example, in the hands of Taras Chmut, whom Umierov threw out of the supervisory board of the DPA just to appoint his own Zhumadilov as the head of the Agency," Shabunin concludes.
