Ukraine is not salad or compote to be on Putin’s menu – Zelenskyy

It is wrong to negotiate on Ukraine without Ukraine's participation, as it will not bring the desired result.
This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Censor.NET reports citing Interfax-Ukraine.
The president emphasized that he told the American side that he did not want Ukraine to be "on Putin's menu."
"We are not salads, not compote for this man, despite his appetite. We are an independent state. And therefore, I think it is wrong to negotiate without us, about us, because there will be no result that is desirable for everyone," Zelenskyy emphasized.
"The broader range of issues aims to exclude Ukraine from this process as much as possible, because the parties do indeed have a wide field of topics to discuss. And this is understandable—America is an independent state, with all due respect to America and the president, they can discuss whatever they want… It seems to me that this is their bilateral relationship. Although, of course, it also has an impact on our situation," Zelenskyy said in response to journalists’ requests to comment on Putin's attempts to expand the scope of discussions with the American side to include Iran and issues in the Middle East.
