Future peace agreement in Ukraine should not serve interests of only one side - Wang Yi

China supports the conclusion of a peace agreement between Ukraine and the Russian Federation, which should be acceptable to all parties concerned.
According to Censor.NET, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said this during a conversation with French President Emmanuel Bonn, a foreign policy adviser to the French President.
It is noted that the parties had an "in-depth exchange of views on the Ukrainian issue."
Bonn presented France's position and expressed the hope that China would play an important role in reaching a just, lasting, and sustainable peace agreement.
Wang Yi said that China has been in favor of resolving the "crisis" through dialogue and negotiation from the beginning.
"The future peace agreement should respect the will of the parties concerned, should not be imposed by a third party, and should not serve the interests of only one country," the foreign minister said.
"China supports the conclusion of a fair, lasting, binding peace agreement acceptable to all parties concerned and believes that all parties concerned should participate in the peace negotiation process," he added.
