Putin is tough man, we have no illusions about who we are dealing with - Waltz

Commenting on Donald Trump's recent conversation with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin, US National Security Advisor Mike Waltz said that Washington has no illusions about who it is dealing with.
Waltz's statement was quoted by CNN , Censor.NET reports.
The adviser to the American leader said that during the talks, President Trump and Putin touched on "many topics." Among other things, the leaders discussed the implementation of a possible ceasefire between Ukraine and Russia, as well as the exchange of prisoners.
When asked whether Putin was honest during the negotiations, Waltz replied:
"Well, it's not a question of whether you necessarily believe. It's a trust, but a test. These are tough negotiations. Putin has a tough character. We have no illusions about who we are dealing with. But both sides are interested in putting an end to the killings."
