Trump offered Zelenskyy to transfer Ukrainian nuclear power plants under U.S. management – White House

During a conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, US President Donald Trump proposed to transfer Ukrainian nuclear power plants under American management.
This was announced during a briefing by the White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt, Interfax-Ukraine reports, Censor.NET informs.
Leavitt said that the American leader discussed Ukrainian electricity supply and nuclear power plants in a conversation with Zelenskyy.
"He said that the United States could be very helpful in running the plants with its electricity and utility expertise. American ownership of those plants would be the best protection for that infrastructure and support for Ukrainian energy infrastructure," the White House spokeswoman said.
Earlier, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that he did not know what exactly the United States and Russia were discussing regarding the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant occupied by Russia.
Earlier, U.S. President Donald Trump provided details of a telephone conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy that took place on March 19.
During the conversation, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and U.S. President Donald Trump agreed to continue working together to achieve a real end to the war and establish a lasting peace.
