90 combat engagements took place in frontline, enemy’s greatest activity was in Pokrovsk and Toretsk directions – General Staff
Since the beginning of the day, as of 4 p.m., 90 combat engagements have taken place at the front.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The situation in the north
During the day, the enemy from the territory of the Russian Federation fired artillery shells at the areas of Mykhailivske, Vovkivka, Bobylivka, Oleksandrivka, Stepove, Stara Huta in the Sumy region; Yeline in the Chernihiv region; and Vidrodzhenivske in the Kharkiv region. The settlements of Krasnopillia, Mykhailivske, Uhroidy and Osoivka in the Sumy region were hit by air strikes with guided bombs.
Hostilities in the Kharkiv region
In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy tried once to attack the positions of the Defense Forces near Hlyboke.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy made six attempts to advance to our positions in the areas of Kindrashivka, Pishchane, Ivanivka and Zahryzove during the day. The defense forces successfully repelled all enemy attacks.
Hostilities in Donbas
In the Lyman direction, 12 combat engagements took place in the areas of Nove, Novomykhailivka and near Yampolivka. Seven combat engagements are still ongoing.
In the Siversk direction, our defenders repelled one enemy attack in the vicinity of Bilohorivka.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy attacked three times in the areas of Minkivka, Stupochky and in the direction of Oleksandro- Shultyne. One combat engagement is currently ongoing.
In the Toretsk direction, the invaders attacked 18 times in the areas of Dachne, Druzhba and Toretsk. Six combat engagements are still ongoing.
The enemy is still highly active in the Pokrovsk direction. Combat engagements of varying intensity started 28 times today near Panteleimonivka, Oleksandropil, Zelene Pole, Tarasivka, Yelyzavetivka, Novotoretske and Andriivka. Four combat engagements are still ongoing.
In the Novopavlivka direction, the aggressor attacked seven times in the areas of Kostiantynopil and Rozlyv.
Hostilities in the south
In the Huliaipole direction, the enemy attacked Novopil and Huliaipole with unguided missiles.
Three times the occupiers tried to advance to the positions of Ukrainian units in the areas of Shcherbaky and Stepove in the Orikhiv direction, and the enemy also struck Kamianske with unguided aerial missiles.
The enemy did not conduct any active offensives in the Prydniprovske direction.
Ukrainian Armed Forces Operation in the Kursk Region of the Russian Federation
In the Kursk region, Ukrainian defenders repelled one attack by the invaders, and four combat engagements have been recorded so far. The enemy launched 14 air strikes, dropping 22 guided bombs on settlements and positions of the Defense Forces. In addition, it carried out 226 artillery attacks, including one from a multiple launch rocket system.
