Tripling of defense aid to Ukraine, approved by Parliament, is being implemented immediately – Norwegian Prime Minister Støre

Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre said that the tripling of defense aid to Ukraine, unanimously approved by the parliament, is now being implemented immediately.
According to Censor.NET, citing Interfax-Ukraine, Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre said this at a press conference with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Oslo.
"The tripling of Norway's defense support for Ukraine, which was unanimously approved by the parliament, is now being immediately implemented in support of artillery ammunition, drone capabilities, and investments in Ukraine's own industry," he said.
Støre noted that the partnership between Ukraine and Norway is "developing every day."
"And you can count on this support. It is the right of a sovereign country to resist aggression, and you have our full support in this fight," the Prime Minister added.
He emphasized that Ukraine is also "fighting for values that are very important to all of us."
Støre also noted that President Zelenskyy had briefed him on the situation at the front and the needs in the short and long term.
