Palisa: 11 more brigades of AFU and National Guard units to join "Contract 18-24" project

The Defense Ministry's Contract 18-24 project will be expanded to include 11 more brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the National Guard. Among them will be Azov and the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade.
This was announced by the Deputy Head of the Presidential Office, Colonel Pavlo Palisa, Censor.NET reports.
The following brigades will join the program:
- 3 Separate Assault Brigade;
- 24th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after King Danylo;
- 30th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Prince Kostiantyn Ostrozkyi;
- 93rd Separate Mechanized Brigade "Kholodnyi Yar";
- 128th Separate Mountain Assault Transcarpathian Brigade;
- 36th Separate Marine Brigade named after Rear Admiral Mykhailo Bilynskyi;
- 39th Separate Coastal Defense Brigade;
- 25th Separate Sicheslav Airborne Brigade;
- 80th Separate Air Assault Galician Brigade.
In addition, the program also involves units of the National Guard:
- 12th Special Forces Brigade "Azov";
- 13th Brigade of Operational Purpose " Khartiia".
What we know about the "Contract 18-24"
On February 11, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine officially launched the Contract 18-24 voluntary service format for Ukrainians who are ready to join the Defense Forces for one year.
The conditions include one million hryvnias, an interest-free mortgage and a social package.
The contract provides for exclusively combat positions, including rifleman, grenade launcher and scout. The training will last more than 80 days. The money is also available to guys serving in the military who are under 25 years old.
