Enemy stands mostly on defensive in Kharkiv direction, - "Kharkiv" OTG

Occupiers blocked at Vovchansk aggregate plant

Russian troops are on the defensive in most areas in the Kharkiv direction.

This was reported on TV by Pavlo Shamshyn, a spokesman for the Kharkiv operational and tactical group, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrinform.

"In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy is on the defensive in most areas. It is most active in the area of Vovchansk and in the surrounding localities, trying to improve its tactical position," said the spokesman.

Answering the question whether the change in soil conditions in many places due to weather changes has a significant impact on the intensity and effectiveness of the use of equipment, Shamshyn noted that some areas of soil are indeed wet, and this creates certain problems for both vehicles and infantry.

But, according to him, this does not have any significant impact on the course of hostilities.

The spokesman also informed that there have been no significant changes in the number of enemy groups in the Kharkiv direction recently.

"However, the enemy continues to rotate, first of all those units that are on the frontline. This is primarily due to the fact that people - although Russians can hardly be called people - are getting tired and need to be replaced. In addition, they suffer significant losses and need to be replenished. In addition, the units that are at zero need logistical support, including ammunition, food and water," he said.

According to Shamshyn, in this regard, the Ukrainian military sees the constant movement of Russians and tries not only to control it, but also to destroy the means by which the occupiers provide logistical support to their units.
