Norwegian Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide and Minister of Labor and Integration Tonje Brenna arrived in Kyiv on the morning of March 26.

This is reported by the Norwegian edition of VG, Censor.NET informs.

The Norwegian Foreign Minister emphasized that the visit comes at a critical time for Ukraine.

"The war is going on at a very intense pace, both sides are preparing themselves for negotiations that could pave the way for peace talks," Eide said.

He emphasized that Norway's support will be long-term and will eventually focus on more than just the supply of ammunition.

Minister of Labor Brenna, for whom this is her first visit to Ukraine, will focus on preparing Ukrainians to return from temporary protection in Norway.

"We want the 90,000 Ukrainians in Norway to be best prepared to return to their country, which will one day be rebuilt," she said.

The two sides will also discuss educational programs and opportunities for Ukrainian youth to ensure that their experience in Norway is relevant to Ukraine's future needs.
