We are not going to lift sanctions against Russia – Macron

French President Emmanuel Macron said he is not considering lifting sanctions against Russia.
He said this at a joint press conference with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Censor.NET reports.
"Peace through strength does not mean starting with the lifting of sanctions before something is received or verified. And at the moment, I see a country that has been attacked, which has already made a gesture of accepting an unconditional 30-day ceasefire, and on the other hand, an aggressor who sets conditions and has not even accepted it. We are not going to lift the sanctions," the French president emphasized.
He added that the issue of sanctions will arise, but it will be raised "in due time" in the process of establishing a lasting peace in Ukraine.
