EU to continue sanctions pressure on Russia to reduce its ability to fight, - European Commission spokesperson Hipper

The European Union will continue to put pressure on Russia with sanctions to reduce its ability to wage war against Ukraine.
This was stated by the European Commission spokesperson Anitta Hipper in a commentary to Suspilne, Censor.NET reports citing Suspilne.
According to her, the EU sanctions are not aimed at restricting trade in agricultural goods, including grain, food and fertilisers, between Russia and third countries.
"The cessation of Russia's unprovoked and unjustified aggression in Ukraine and the unconditional withdrawal of all Russian armed forces from the entire territory of Ukraine would be one of the main preconditions for changing or lifting sanctions," Hipper said.
She also noted that the end of Russia's war against Ukraine would have a positive impact on global food security and market stability.
