Zelenskyy says Russia violated "energy truce" by shelling Kherson

Zelenskyy names red lines in talks with Russia

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that on 27 March, Russian troops shelled energy facilities in Kherson.

He said this during his press conference, Censor.NET reports citing hromadske.

At the same time, the Head of State noted that the US authorities believe that the so-called ceasefire on the Black Sea and in the energy sector between Ukraine and Russia is working.

According to the President, two days ago, on 25 March, there were no attacks on the energy sector. However, today, on 27 March, Russian troops attacked energy facilities in Kherson with artillery.

"In my opinion, if today there were violations, there were strikes on Kherson, on the railway station, electricity was damaged, then I believe that there should be a US response in action," Zelenskyy said.

He also instructed the Minister of Defence to prepare evidence of the Russian side's violation of the ceasefire, which will be presented to the United States.

Earlier, it was reported that Russian troops massively shelled the central part of Kherson, resulting in deaths and injuries.
