Ukrainian defense forces continue to defend Ukraine. Since the beginning of the day, 195 combat engagements have taken place, with the largest number of Russian assaults recorded at the Pokrovsk, Lyman, Kupiansk and Toretsk directions.

Russian shelling of Ukraine
The enemy launched 74 air strikes on the positions of our troops and populated areas, using 109 guided aerial bombs, 1123 strikes by kamikaze drones, and carried out almost 4,800 artillery attacks.
The situation in the Kharkiv region
Five enemy assaults in the area of Vovchansk were stopped by Ukrainians in the Kharkiv direction.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy tried 26 times to force our units out of their positions in the areas of Stepova Novoselivka, Zahryzove and in the directions of Petropavlivka, Pishchane, Nova Kruhliakivka and Bohuslavka; two combat engagements are currently underway.
Hostilities in the East
In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked 32 times, trying to advance in the areas of Nadiia, Kolodiazi, Myrne, Yampolivka and in the directions of Novoserhiivka, Nove, Olhivka, Dronivka, and Hryhorivka. Three combat engagements are ongoing.
In the Siversk direction, our troops successfully stopped three attacks near the localities of Bilohorivka and Verkhnokamianske.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the Defense Forces stopped four enemy attempts to advance near Chasiv Yar and Predtechyne.
The enemy tried 23 times to penetrate our defense in the Toretsk direction, in the areas of Krymske, Ozarianivka, Kurdiumivka, Toretsk and in the directions of Dyliivka, Leonidivka and Shcherbynivka. Two combat engagements are currently ongoing.
The enemy is intensifying its attacks in the Pokrovsk direction. The aggressor made 57 assault and offensive attacks there during the day. Russian occupants are active in the areas of Panteleimonivka, Oleksandropil, Vodiane Druhe, Yelyzavetivka, Lysivka, Sukhyi Yar, Kotlyne, Udachne, Uspenivka, Preobrazhenka, Andriivka and in the directions of Malynivka and Novooleksandrivka; 12 combat engagements are still ongoing. The enemy conducted air strikes in the areas of Yablunivka, Zoria, Novoolenivka, Hrodivka, Pokrovsk, Chunyshyne, Novoserhiivka, Novomykolaivka, and Oleksiivka.
According to preliminary estimates, Ukrainian troops have neutralized 298 invaders in this direction, 183 of them - eliminated. Our defenders also destroyed 14 vehicles, four motorcycles, five armored infantry vehicles, three ATVs, five operational and tactical unmanned aerial vehicles, one electronic warfare device and an enemy mortar. Four vehicles, two motorcycles, a howitzer and two cannons were also heavily damaged.
The situation in the South
In the Novopavlivka direction, our defenders halted 10 enemy attacks in the vicinity of Kostiantynopil, Rozlyv, Skudne, Dniproenerhiia and Burlatske, four combat engagements are still ongoing.
In the Huliaipole direction, the enemy conducted nine assault operations in the areas of Pryvilne, Novosilka and towards Vilne Pole. Defense forces successfully stopped all enemy attacks.
Four combat engagements took place in the Orikhiv direction, with the enemy trying to advance towards Shcherbaky, Lobkove and Kamianske.
In the Prydniprovske direction, the enemy did not conduct any active offensive.
Kursk direction
Eighteen combat engagements took place in the Kursk direction today. During the day, the enemy made 349 artillery attacks, including 19 from multiple launch rocket systems, and carried out 20 air strikes, dropping 23 guided bombs.
Today, it is worth mentioning the soldiers of the 31st Separate Mechanized Brigade, 79th Border Guard Detachment, 82nd Separate Air Assault Brigade, 95th Separate Air Assault Brigade, who in extremely difficult conditions are holding back the attacks of the enemy's superior forces, inflicting significant losses on them.
