Fico says von der Leyen called him"complete idiot " for talking to Trump
Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico said that European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen called him a "complete idiot" for having talks with US President Donald Trump.

Fico said that he had discussed with Trump the tariffs that the US president plans to impose on Europe. For this, Ursula von der Leyen scolded him for half an hour, calling him a "complete idiot."
"Today I spoke on the phone with the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen. We discussed two topics. The first was the duties that were imposed on us. She scolded me terribly: "Robert, what have you done? Why would you negotiate with Trump like that? Are you sane?" She scolded me for half an hour, saying that I was a complete idiot," said the Slovak prime minister.
