3% of Ukrainians believe in just peace in Ukraine under Trump’s presidency - poll. INFOGRAPHICS

In March 2025, only 3% of Ukrainians believe that under Donald Trump's presidency, Ukraine can count on a fully just peace.

This is evidenced by a survey conducted by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KIIS), Censor.NET reports.

As noted, another 15% of respondents expect a fair peace, but with some concessions to Russia.

At the same time, 21% of respondents believe that the peace will be partly fair and partly not. Rather, 32% of Ukrainians expect an unjust peace, although some of Ukraine's demands will be met.

A completely unjust peace is the opinion of 22% of respondents.

Dynamics of changes in attitudes towards Trump

In December 2024, only 31% of Ukrainians believed that under Trump, Ukraine could get a rather or completely unjust peace. However, in February 2025, this figure rose to 58%.

The most recent data collected by КIIS between 12 and 22 March 2025 shows that 55% of Ukrainians are critical of the likely peace under Trump.

"If in December 2024, Ukrainians had cautious and even cautiously optimistic assessments, since February 2025 we have seen their significant deterioration," the sociologists said.

As noted, the survey was conducted among 1,326 respondents across Ukraine.
