Russia takes US peace proposals seriously, but has its own priorities - Russian Foreign Ministry

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said that Moscow has not yet heard from Trump any signals to Kyiv to end the war.

"The U.S. position on Ukraine does not currently require solving the problems associated with the root causes of the conflict, it must be overcome," he said.
The Russian deputy foreign minister noted that Moscow takes Washington's proposals seriously, but has its own priorities.
Earlier, the White House said that Trump does not like either Ukraine's or Russia's position on ending the war.
