U.S. President Donald Trump continues to work "actively" every day to establish peace in Ukraine, as the war has been going on for "too long."
This was stated by the White House spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt, Censor.NET reports citing Sky News.
"Our team continues to work with both Russians and Ukrainians. And the president continues to be very, very active on this topic every day," she said.
At the same time, in response to a question about whether Trump was aware of Russian dictator Putin's decree to draft another 160,000 people into military service in Russia, Levitt reminded that the White House chief of staff is "disappointed with the leaders on both sides of this war."
The spokeswoman reiterated Trump's earlier position that he wants to end the war in Ukraine, which has been going on "too long," and stop the deaths of "many people" on both sides.
