The next meeting of the Coalition of the Willing has been announced in the UK. It will be held on April 10.
This was reported by the British delegation to NATO, Censor.NET reports.
"On April 10, British Defense Secretary John Healey and French Armed Forces Minister Sebastian Lecorne will hold a meeting of the Coalition of the Willing at NATO headquarters in Brussels," the statement said.
As a reminder, a meeting of the Contact Group on Ukraine's Defense in the Ramstein format, chaired by the United Kingdom, will take place on April 11.
What is known about the "Coalition of the Willing"?
The Coalition of the Willing is an association of countries from Europe and beyond that have pledged to help Ukraine fight the Russian aggressor. The coalition was announced by British Prime Minister Keir Starmer on March 2, 2025.
The coalition aims to strengthen European support for Ukraine, create the basis for a peaceful settlement, and ensure the participation of allies in this process amidst the unstable US policy on the Ukrainian issue.
One of the key topics of discussion among the coalition members is the possible deployment of "international security forces" in Ukraine if a ceasefire agreement is reached.
France and the United Kingdom have taken on the role of leaders of the association.
The initiative was joined by EU states, NATO members, and countries outside these blocs.
Among the participants are: Australia, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, Ukraine, the United Kingdom, etc.
