Palisa: 10-12 countries are ready to join Coalition of Willing
The "Coalition of the Willing", which plans to deploy a military contingent on the territory of Ukraine, is ready to join 10-12 countries in one format or another.
This was stated by the Deputy Head of the Presidential Office Pavlo Palisa, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrinform.
"During the President's visit to Paris, an agreement was reached to hold a meeting in Ukraine. It will concern practical military planning, in particular, the presence of the contingent. At this meeting we will discuss our common vision of further actions. Representatives of France and the United Kingdom will definitely participate. Representatives of other countries may also join. Currently, about ten to twelve countries are ready to join the coalition.
The only question is in what format it will be implemented. That is why discussions are ongoing: we have our basic vision and our partners' vision based on their capabilities," said Palisa.
He added that after all the details are agreed upon, it will be possible to move on to a more substantive conversation, and a second meeting will be held soon, which will be more technical.
