Ukrainian team to go to US next week to discuss minerals agreement - Svyrydenko

Next week, the Ukrainian team will travel to Washington to negotiate a new draft agreement that will give the United States access to valuable mineral resources.

According to Censor.NET, this was reported by the Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko in a comment to the Associated Press.

"The new draft agreement from the U.S. shows that the intention to create a fund or jointly invest remains," Svyrydenko said.

According to the newspaper, the delegation from Kyiv will include representatives of the ministries of economy, foreign affairs, justice, and finance.

As reported earlier, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy instructed the SSU to investigate the leak of information about the latest US proposal for a minerals deal.
