Enemy continues active assault attempts to force Ukrainian defenders from positions on left bank of Dnipro - OTG "Kherson"
During the week from March 31 to April 6, Russians tried to storm Ukrainian positions on the left bank of the Kherson region 15 times.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported at a briefing by Pavlo Drohal, spokesman for the Kherson OTG.
"In total, during the period from March 31 to April 6, 2025, the Russian aggressors fired 460 times at the positions of Ukrainian defenders and civilian infrastructure. In addition, the Russian occupiers carried out three air strikes," Drohal said.
According to him, the enemy continues to make active attempts to storm the Ukrainian positions on the left bank of the Dnipro River. Thus, last week Russian invaders tried to storm Ukrainian positions 15 times, all attempts were repelled by the Ukrainian military.
The spokesperson emphasized that the enemy's losses during this period increased significantly and amounted to 228 Russian invaders killed and wounded, and 51 pieces of weapons and military equipment were destroyed.
Drohal also said that over 1.8 thousand Russian drones attacked Kherson region during the week, and the Defense Forces suppressed and destroyed 81% of these UAVs.
"Russian occupants continue to actively use UAVs of various types and modifications. A total of 1,834 FPVs were used, 476 of them within the Kherson territorial community," he said.
According to the spokesman, 1487 FPV UAVs were destroyed or suppressed using electronic warfare systems, including 386 within the Kherson territorial community.
To recap, in late March, the Southern Defense Forces reported that the occupiers were trying to cross the Dnipro River and seize a bridgehead on the right bank of the Kherson region.
