In US they plan to hold military parade on Trump’s birthday - Hill

Trump’s birthday parade to be held in Washington

The White House plans to hold a military parade in Washington on 14 June to mark Donald Trump's 79th birthday.

This is reported by The Hill, Censor.NET informs.

The military parade began to be planned last year and is dedicated to the 250th anniversary of the US Army.

In a comment to the publication, US Army spokesman Dave Butler said that they are working with the White House and several government agencies "to make the celebration a national level event".

Other media outlets report that the convoy could stretch for almost six kilometres, from the Pentagon building to the White House.

During his first term in 2018, Donald Trump ordered the Pentagon to plan a major military parade after he visited Paris and was inspired by the Bastille Day event in France.

The parade was cancelled due to the cost - $92 million - and criticism.
