Situation in Lyman sector is deteriorating. There are 10 Russian infantrymen for every one of ours - 66th SMB

Over the past month, the situation in the Lyman sector has deteriorated. The occupiers are sending large numbers of infantry into the battle.
According to Censor.NET, the spokeswoman for the 66th separate mechanised brigade named after Prince Mstyslav the Brave, Anastasiia Blyshchyk, told this on the air of "Radio Liberty".
‘We can confirm that the situation has indeed deteriorated over the past month. The Russians are pressing with an incredible amount of infantry, which they simply have a lot of. These can be both large infantry groups and small infantry groups that take advantage of the weather conditions. They are doing everything they can to break into our combat formations, to run to the rear as quickly as possible and cause trouble for us," she said.
According to the spokeswoman, Ukrainian defenders in the Lyman sector are short of manpower, while Russian forces, despite heavy losses, are rapidly replenishing with new soldiers.
"Over the past month, our brigade's soldiers alone have inflicted very heavy losses on the Russians, including two battalions. However, the Russians do not stop. Because they have established this system of rapid replenishment of their losses, they continue to maintain their offensive potential and it is not lost... Indeed, sometimes there are 10 Russian occupiers for one of our infantrymen," said Blyshchyk.
Earlier, the "Khortytsia" OSGT stated that the Russian army had intensified infantry attacks in the Lyman sector, focusing its efforts on amassing manpower. The enemy units, according to the Ukrainian military, are staffed mainly by well-trained contractors.
