Fighters of 81st SAB capture two Chinese nationals in Donetsk region: brigade told details of operation

Soldiers of the 81st Separate Airmobile Slobozhanska Brigade of the Air Assault Forces recently captured two citizens of the People’s Republic of China who were fighting on the side of the Russian army in the Donetsk region.
This was reported by the brigade on Facebook, Censor.NET reports.
It was noted that the Chinese nationals were armed, present in an active combat zone, and operating within a unit of Russian occupation forces.
Ukrainian law enforcement agencies are currently working with the prisoners of war, and all necessary legal procedures are being carried out.
According to Ukrainska Pravda's sources, reports of Chinese nationals fighting for Russia had been appearing in intercepted radio communications in the Siversk area for several weeks. However, these claims were only confirmed after the first two were taken prisoner.

Earlier, it was reported that Ukrainian defenders had captured two Chinese nationals in Donetsk region. They were fighting as part of the Russian military.
According to President Zelenskyy, Ukrainian forces engaged a group of six Chinese fighters in the areas of Tarasivka and Bilohorivka in Donetsk region, after which two were captured.
Ukraine's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has summoned the chargé d'affaires of the Chinese embassy over the participation of Chinese citizens in Russia’s war against Ukraine on the side of the aggressor.
