This was stated by the head of the Estonian Ministry of Defence Hanno Pevkur, Censor.NET reports citing Suspilne.
"Either this week or next week, we will deliver 10,000 rounds of 155 mm ammunition. We will also deliver 750,000 food packages for the soldiers. And we will also continue break-even activities in that sense that we buy ammunition for the AFU with the help of our friends from different European countries," Pevkur said.
In addition, Estonia continues to cooperate with partners in Europe to purchase additional ammunition for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The minister stressed that the current situation at the frontline requires further military assistance.
"We all understand that it is difficult on the frontline. We actually have to increase military assistance to Ukraine. And we are doing it. And we will discuss with our partners what more we can do, because Ukraine needs a better position for peace talks," he added.
Pevkur also intends to meet with Ukrainian Defence Minister Rustem Umerov to clarify the immediate needs of the Ukrainian military.
