SAPO requests Nasirov’s arrest with alternative bail of UAH 75 million

The prosecutor asked the court to change the measure of restraint for the former head of the SFS Roman Nasirov to custody, determining the possibility of bail in the amount of UAH 75 million.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the SAPO press service.
"The SAPO prosecutor has filed a motion with the court to change the measure of restraint against the former Head of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine, who is accused of abuse of office that caused grave consequences.
The prosecutor insists on changing the measure of restraint to a more severe one, namely detention with an alternative of bail in the amount of UAH 75 million," the statement said.
As a reminder, on 9 April 2025, the accused former SFS head Nasirov did not attend the HACC hearing. The defence noted that Nasirov was drafted into the Armed Forces during mobilisation, so he could not come to court.
Subsequently, the Armed Forces cancelled the order to mobilise Nasirov, and an internal investigation was launched.
The court extended Nasirov's commitment for two months.

On 2 February 2023, the investigation against the former head of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine and his adviser was completed, and on 24 May the case was sent to court.
The investigation into the suspicion of the owner of the agricultural holding was completed in April 2023. In February 2024, the indictment against him was sent to court.
