Eight people injured in Russian shelling of Kherson this morning – CMA

Eight people were injured as a result of shelling by Russian forces targeting the Dniprovskyi district of Kherson.

According to Censor.NET, this was reported by Roman Mrochko, Head of the Kherson City Military Administration (CMA).

Shelling of the Dniprovskyi District at 10:30 AM

"Police officers brought a 44-year-old Kherson resident to the hospital after he was injured at around 10:30 AM during an attack by a Russian drone in the Dniprovskyi district. He suffered a blast injury, a fracture of his right leg, and a shrapnel wound to his left leg," Mrochko wrote.

Later, two more people were reported injured as a result of the same morning drone attack in the Dniprovskyi district.

  • A 68-year-old woman and a 63-year-old man sustained blast injuries and shrapnel wounds to their limbs.

Shelling of Kherson’s Dniprovskyi District at 1:00 PM

Later, at around 1:00 PM, Russian occupation forces shelled the Dniprovskyi district of Kherson using artillery.

  • An 80-year-old Kherson resident was hospitalized in critical condition with a blast injury and shrapnel wounds.

  • A 49-year-old man sustained a blast injury and a shrapnel wound to the neck. His condition is assessed by doctors as moderate.

  • A 71-year-old woman and a 73-year-old man received medical assistance at the scene. Both suffered concussions, blast injuries, and closed craniocerebral trauma. The woman also sustained abrasions to her neck, while the man sustained a traumatic injury to his right leg.

  • A 56-year-old Kherson resident also suffered a blast injury and shrapnel wounds to his right leg. He sought medical assistance on his own. Additional examination is currently underway.
