Zelenskyy on sanctions against Russian propagandists and "shadow fleet"

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has put into effect the decision of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) of April 11, 2025 "On the Application of Personal Special Economic and Other Restrictive Measures (Sanctions)."

Zelenskyy announced this in his telegram channel, Censor.NET reports.

"We are increasing pressure on war propagandists and those who justify Russia, and together with our partners we are blocking the activities of the Russian shadow fleet. The relevant decrees are already on the website," he said in a statement.

He also said that another decision of the National Security and Defense Council is being prepared regarding functionaries. The decree will be issued soon.

Thus, on April 11, the President's website published two decrees No. 229/2025 and No. 230/2025 on the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine of April 11, 2025 "On the Application of Personal Special Economic and Other Restrictive Measures (Sanctions)."

According to Decree No. 229/2025, sanctions were imposed against 59 individuals, including citizens of Russia and China.

According to Decree No. 230/2025, sanctions were imposed against 18 legal entities and 71 individuals.
