Zelenskyy: Ukraine is ready to buy additional air defence systems, we talked about it with Trump. VIDEO
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy 's address to Ukrainians at the end of the 1143rd day of the war with Russia.

"Today I'm going to the Dnipropetrovsk region, to Kryvyi Rih. I honoured the victims of the Russian strike, of ballistic missiles, exactly a week ago. Nineteen people were killed by a Russian missile. Nine of them were children.
Today, from Kryvyi Rih, I addressed the participants of the Ramstein meeting in Brussels. "The main thing for us is air defence, additional air defence systems and missiles for them. To protect people's lives and defend our cities. We are counting on our partners' decisions - we need the systems, they are available in the world, and we need a political decision to make air defence work here in Ukraine: Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih, Nikopol, Kharkiv, Sumy, Chernihiv, Mykolaiv, Odesa and many other cities and communities.
We talked about this with the President of the United States of America, with President Trump: Ukraine is not just asking - we are ready to buy the appropriate additional systems. And strong weapons are the only thing that can be trusted to protect lives when you have a neighbour like Russia. I want Ukrainian children to be able to study in safety right at school, not online, but offline, just like in America, like everywhere else in Europe, and not in these underground classrooms that may provide more security, but which should not be the norm anywhere, but right at school.
Air defence is the first priority. I am grateful to the partners who are already helping us. There will also be substantial new funding for electronic warfare systems - this is a plus of UAH 540 million," Zelenskyy said.
