"During the fighting for Terny, the enemy was probing for opportunities to enter Yampolivka and found a place to the north-east of the village, where it sent its infantry. Today, part of the settlement is under the enemy's control and in the grey zone, where the Defence Forces continue to strike at the enemy when they try to gain a foothold in the village and occupy it completely.
It's an unpleasant situation for the soldiers of the 63rd Brigade, for whom the flank is opening up, despite the fact that the brigade has been successfully holding its area of responsibility for years," the statement said.
