Fighter of 39th Separate Coastal Defence Brigade "Khytryi" - minus 18 occupiers in first battle. VIDEO
The platoon commander of the 39th Separate Coastal Defence Brigade, "Khytryi", tells us about the illness that prevented him from joining the army, what it is like to take on the role of a leader in combat, what decisions are the most difficult, why the guys try not to spoil each other's mood, and what he will never do again after the war.
Watch the conversation with the military man on Censor.NET.
Khytryi's first trip to the left bank of the Dnipro was a real baptism of fire for him. When his group was attacked by 20 occupiers at once, he had to engage in a contact battle. Almost all the enemies were eliminated. And that was only the beginning, as "Khytryi" and his comrades had to repel similar attacks almost every day for several weeks.
Together with its men, "Khytryi" has been through many trials. And now he is ready to go through fire and water with them. "I no longer feel like a commander, but a friend to the guys. I am always with them and do not shy away from any work. If I need to bring something for them, I do. If they need to dig, I'll be with them and dig. I believe that if we cannot be friends, then we cannot work together," he said.
