The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved a resolution launching state quality assurance (SQA) for defense-related goods, works, and services.

This was reported by People`s Deputy Oleksii Honcharenko from the European Solidarity party, according to Censor.NET.

According to the resolution, quality control will cover the entire cycle — from procurement planning and contractor vetting to process inspections and funding for oversight activities.

"There will now be clear procedures for checking the quality of weapons, equipment, gear, and other items purchased for the military," Honcharenko stated.

The system will apply not only to Ukrainian manufacturers but also to foreign companies from NATO member states and partner countries with whom Ukraine has signed foreign trade contracts.

The People`s Deputy also recalled previous cases of substandard supplies: "We’ll see how it works — we’ve already had faulty mines delivered to our troops."
