Ukrainian defence forces repelled one of most massive Russian assaults in Pokrovsk sector. Battle lasted over 7 hours - National Guard
Yesterday, on April 17, Ukrainian defenders repelled one of the most massive Russian assaults in the Pokrovsk direction.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported by the National Guard of Ukraine.
"Yesterday we repelled one of the largest assaults by Russians on motorcycles. This is definitely an event that will go down in history," the statement said.
It is noted that the offensive in the Pokrovsk direction lasted a little over 7 hours. The enemy lost an average of one casualty per hour:
- up to 40 infantrymen;
- about 13 motorcycles;
- 3 armored personnel carriers.
According to the General Staff, over the past day in the Pokrovsk sector our defenders stopped 64 aggressor's assault actions in the areas of Sukha Balka, Stara Mykolaivka, Zelene Pole, Vodiane Druhe, Yelyzavetivka, Novotoretske, Promin, Lysivka, Kotlyne, Uspenivka, Preobrazhenka and Andriivka.
